Al-Mu’minun Meccan Juz 18 Surah 23. The Believers ayaat 1-20 / 118

97. And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the devils. وَقُل
رَّبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ

98. "And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me."
وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَن يَحْضُرُونِ

Al-Fatihah Meccan Juz 1 Surah 1. The Opening

1. In the Name of Allah, The All-Merciful, the Mercy-giving.
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِِ

2. All praise and thanks be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds.
الْحَمْدُ للّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

3. The All-Merciful, the Mercy-giving.
الرَّحْمـنِ الرَّحِيمِ

4. The Master of the Day of Recompense.
مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ

5. You (Alone) we worship, And You (Alone) we ask for help.
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ

6. Guide us to the Straight Path.
اهدِنَــــا الصِّرَاطَ المُستَقِيمَ

7. The path of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, Not (the path) of those who earned Your Anger, Nor of those who went astray.
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنعَمتَ عَلَيهِمْ غَيرِ المَغضُوبِ عَلَيهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ

Az-Zumar Meccan Juz 23 Surah 39. The Groups ayaat 41-60 / 75

46. Say (O Muhammad): "O Allah! Creator of the heavens and the earth! All-Knower of the unseen and the seen. You will judge between your slaves about that wherein they used to differ." قُلِ
اللَّهُمَّ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ أَنتَ تَحْكُمُ بَيْنَ عِبَادِكَ فِي مَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ

Allahumma salle wa sallim ala Syedena Muhammadin wa ala aalayhi wa azwajehi wa dhurriyyatehe wa ashabebe wa barik wa sallem

An-Naml Meccan Juz 19 Surah 27. The Ants ayaat 41-60 / 93

59. Say (O Muhammad): "Praise and thanks be to Allah, and peace be on His slaves whom He has chosen (for His Message)! Is Allah better, or (all) that you ascribe as partners (to Him)?" (Of course, Allah is Better). قُلِ
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى عِبَادِهِ الَّذِينَ اصْطَفَى
آللَّهُ خَيْرٌ أَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

Al-A‘raaf Meccan Juz 8 Surah 7. The Heights ayaat 21-40 / 206

23. They said: "Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers." قَالاَ
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ

Al-Anbiya’ Meccan Juz 17 Surah 21. The Prophets ayaat 81-100 / 112

87. And (remember) Jonah, when he went off in anger, and imagined that We shall not punish him (i.e. the calamites which had befallen him)! But he cried through the darkness (saying): None has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allah), Glorified (and Exalted) are You [above all that (evil) they associate with You]. Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers."وَذَا النُّونِ إِذ ذَّهَبَ مُغَاضِبًا فَظَنَّ أَن لَّن نَّقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَنَادَى فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ أَن
لَّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

Al-Mu’minun Meccan Juz 18 Surah 23. The Believers ayaat 101-118 / 118

118. And say (O Muhammad): "My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!" وَقُل
رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينِ

Ibraheem Meccan Juz 13 Surah 14. Prophet Abraham ayaat 21-40 / 52

35. And (remember) when Abraham said: "O my Lord! Make this city (Makkah) one of peace and security, and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols. وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ
رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَـذَا الْبَلَدَ آمِنًا وَاجْنُبْنِي وَبَنِيَّ أَن نَّعْبُدَ الأَصْنَامَ

36. "O my Lord! They have indeed led astray many among humankind. But whoso follows me, he verily is of me. And whoso disobeys me, - still You are indeed Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
رَبِّ إِنَّهُنَّ أَضْلَلْنَ كَثِيراً مِّنَ النَّاسِ فَمَن تَبِعَنِي فَإِنَّهُ مِنِّي وَمَنْ عَصَانِي فَإِنَّكَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

37. "O our Lord! I have made some of my offspring to dwell in an uncultivable valley by Your Sacred House (the Ka'bah at Makkah); in order,

O our Lord, that they may perform the prayers, so fill some hearts among men with love towards them, and (O Allah) provide them with fruits so that they may give thanks. رَّبَّنَا إِنِّي أَسْكَنتُ مِن ذُرِّيَّتِي بِوَادٍ غَيْرِ ذِي زَرْعٍ عِندَ بَيْتِكَ الْمُحَرَّمِ

رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُواْ الصَّلاَةَ فَاجْعَلْ أَفْئِدَةً مِّنَ النَّاسِ تَهْوِي إِلَيْهِمْ وَارْزُقْهُم مِّنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُونَ


38. "O our Lord! Certainly, You know what we conceal and what we reveal. Nothing on the earth or in the heaven is hidden from Allah.
رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مَا نُخْفِي وَمَا نُعْلِنُ وَمَا يَخْفَى عَلَى اللّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ فَي الأَرْضِ وَلاَ فِي السَّمَاء


40. "O my Lord! Make me one who performs the prayer, and (also) from my offspring, our Lord! And accept my invocation.
رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلاَةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاء


41. "Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and (all) the believers on the Day when the reckoning will be established."
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ


Al-Furqan Meccan Juz 18 Surah 25. The Criterion ayaat 61-77 / 77

74. And those who say: "Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the pious."
وَالَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

Al-Ahqaf Meccan Juz 26 Surah 46. The Curved Sandhills ayaat 1-20 / 35

15. And We have enjoined on man to be dutiful and kind to his parents. His mother bears him with hardship and she brings him forth with hardship, and the bearing of him, and the weaning of him is thirty (30) months, till when he attains full strength and reaches forty years, he says: "My Lord! Grant me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds, such as please You, and make my off-spring good. Truly, I have turned to You in repentance, and truly, I am one of the Muslims (submitting to Your Will)." وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ إِحْسَانًا حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ كُرْهًا وَوَضَعَتْهُ كُرْهًا وَحَمْلُهُ وَفِصَالُهُ ثَلَاثُونَ شَهْرًا حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُ وَبَلَغَ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً قَالَ
رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي فِي ذُرِّيَّتِي إِنِّي تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَإِنِّي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

Al-Baqarah Medinan Juz 1 Surah 2. The Cow ayaat 201-220 / 286

201. And of them there are some who say: "Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire!"وِمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

284. To Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth, and whether you disclose what is in your ownselves or conceal it, Allah will call you to account for it. Then He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. And Allah is Able to do all things.
لِّلَّهِ ما فِي السَّمَاواتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ وَإِن تُبْدُواْ مَا فِي أَنفُسِكُمْ أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ يُحَاسِبْكُم بِهِ اللّهُ فَيَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَاء وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَاء وَاللّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

285. The Messenger (Muhammad) believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers. Each one believes in Allah, His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers. They say, "We make no distinction between one another of His Messengers" - and they say, "We hear, and we obey. (We seek) Your Forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the return (of all)."
آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِن رَّبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ وَمَلآئِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ لاَ نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّن رُّسُلِهِ وَقَالُواْ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ

286. Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope. He gets reward for that (good) which he has earned, and he is punished for that (evil) which he has earned. "Our Lord! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error, our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us (Jews and Christians); our Lord! Put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us Forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Maula (Patron, Supporter and Protector, etc.) and give us victory over the disbelieving people."
لاَ يُكَلِّفُ اللّهُ نَفْسًا إِلاَّ وُسْعَهَا لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْ رَبَّنَا لاَ تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا رَبَّنَا وَلاَ تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا رَبَّنَا وَلاَ تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لاَ طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا أَنتَ مَوْلاَنَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

Al-Anbiya’ Meccan Juz 17 Surah 21. The Prophets ayaat 81-100 / 112

83. And (remember) Job, when he cried to his Lord: "Verily, distress has seized me, and You are the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy."وَأَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَى رَبَّهُ
أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

Qaf Meccan Juz 26 Surah 50. Qaf ayaat 21-40 / 45

22. (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" لَقَدْ كُنتَ فِي غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هَذَا
فَكَشَفْنَا عَنكَ غِطَاءكَ فَبَصَرُكَ الْيَوْمَ حَدِيدٌ

Ta-Ha Meccan Juz 16 Surah 20. Ta-Ha ayaat 41-60 / 135

25. [Moses] said: "O my Lord! Open for me my chest (grant me self-confidence, contentment, and boldness).قَالَ
رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي

26. "And ease my task for me;
وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي

27. "And make loose the knot (the defect) from my tongue, (i.e. remove the incorrectness from my speech) [That occurred as a result of a brand of fire which Moses put in his mouth when he was an infant].
وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي

28. "That they understand my speech,
يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي

Faatir Meccan Juz 22 Surah 35. The Originator Of Creation ayaat 1-20 / 45

28. And of men and Ad-Dawab (moving living creatures, beasts, etc.), and cattle, in like manner of various colours. It is only those who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allah. Verily, Allah is All-Mighty, Oft-Forgiving. وَمِنَ النَّاسِ وَالدَّوَابِّ وَالْأَنْعَامِ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهُ كَذَلِكَ
إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاء إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ غَفُورٌ

Aal-‘Imran Medinan Juz 3 Surah 3. The Family of Imran ayaat 1-20 / 200

26. Say (O Muhammad): "O Allah! Possessor of the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will, and You take the kingdom from whom You will, and You endue with honour whom You will, and You humiliate whom You will. In Your Hand is the good. Verily, You are Able to do all things.قُلِ
اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَن تَشَاء وَتَنزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّن تَشَاء وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَاء وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَاء بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ إِنَّكَ عَلَىَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

27. You make the night to enter into the day, and You make the day to enter into the night, You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living. And You give wealth and sustenance to whom You will without limit.
تُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي الْنَّهَارِ وَتُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ الَمَيَّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَتَرْزُقُ مَن تَشَاء بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ

An-Naml Meccan Juz 19 Surah 27. The Ants ayaat 1-20 / 93

62. Is not He (better than your gods) Who responds to the distressed one, when he calls Him, and Who removes the evil, and makes you inheritors of the earth, generations after generations. Is there any ilah (god) with Allah? Little is that you remember!
أَمَّن يُجِيبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ السُّوءَ وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَاء الْأَرْضِ أَإِلَهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ

Aal-‘Imran Medinan Juz 3 Surah 3. The Family of Imran ayaat 1-20 / 200

173. Those unto whom the people said, "Verily, the people have gathered against you, So, fear them." But it (only) increased them in Faith, And they said: "Allah is Sufficient for us! And He is the Best Disposer of affairs." الَّذِينَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُإِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُواْ لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ إِيمَاناً وَقَالُواْ
حَسْبُنَا اللّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ

Al-Anfaal Medinan Juz 9 Surah 8. The Spoils of War ayaat 21-40 / 75

40. And if they turn away, then know that Allah is your Maulaa (Patron, Lord, Protector and Supporter, etc.), (what) an Excellent Maulaa, and (what) an Excellent Helper!وَإِن تَوَلَّوْاْ فَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ مَوْلاَكُمْ
نِعْمَ الْمَوْلَى وَنِعْمَ النَّصِيرُ

Ghaafir Meccan Juz 24 Surah 40. The Forgiver ayaat 1-20 / 85

44. "And you will remember what I am telling you, and my affair I leave it to Allah. Verily, Allah is the All-Seer of (His) slaves."فَسَتَذْكُرُونَ مَا أَقُولُ لَكُمْ
وَأُفَوِّضُ أَمْرِي إِلَى اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَصِيرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ

Yusuf Meccan Juz 12 Surah 12. Prophet Joseph ayaat 101-111 / 111

101. "My Lord! You have indeed bestowed on me of the sovereignty, and taught me the interpretation of dreams; The (only) Creator of the heavens and the earth! You are my Protector in this world and in the Hereafter, cause me to die as a Muslim (the one submitting to Your Will), and join me with the righteous."رَبِّ قَدْ آتَيْتَنِي مِنَ الْمُلْكِ وَعَلَّمْتَنِي مِن تَأْوِيلِ الأَحَادِيثِ
فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ أَنتَ وَلِيِّي فِي الدُّنُيَا وَالآخِرَةِ تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ

Al-Baqarah Medinan Juz 1 Surah 2. The Cow ayaat 1-20 / 286

127. And (remember) when Abraham and (his son) Ishmael were raising the foundations of the House (the Ka'bah at Makkah), (saying), "Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us. Verily! You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knower." وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ
رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

128. "Our Lord! And make us submissive unto You and of our offspring a nation submissive unto You, and show us our (pilgrimage) rites, and accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful. رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا
وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ


As-Saaffaat Meccan Juz 23 Surah 37. Those Ranged in Ranks ayaat 1-20 / 182

180. Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him!
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

181. And peace be on the Messengers!
وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ

182. And all the praise and thanks be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
